The Westerwelle Young Founders Programme is now accepting applications for its latest cohort.
The program provides outstanding young entrepreneurs from developing and emerging nations with six months of business coaching and a trip to Berlin to attend the Young Founder Conference.
Young business leaders, executives, and decision-makers from around the world can collaborate thanks to the Westerwelle Foundation for International Understanding.
The Young Founders Programme is a fully financed, six-month program that provides access to a worldwide network of entrepreneurs, mentorship from business experts, and expert workshops for 25 exceptional entrepreneurs from developing and emerging nations.
The Young Founder Conference will be held in Berlin in December, and the best 10 performers will be invited.
Selection Criteria
- You are a citizen or resident of a developing or emerging country.
- You have recently (in the last five years) started a for-profit company focused on developing or emerging markets.
- Your company possesses a scalable business model that has generated revenue or secured a first round of external funding.
- You or your business possesses disruptive qualities that can increase the quality, impact or inclusiveness of the industry.
- You possess a good working knowledge of English.
- You are available to attend the digital kick-off conference and can make time to participate in program activities for six months.
