Clubhouse, a social audio app, has developed a new direct message feature dubbed ‘Backchannel,’ which allows one-on-one and group text chats.
Clubhouse announced that it had gained over 8 million new users since launching.
One of the most requested features, according to the company, is the direct messages feature.
There is one-on-one and group chat available, as well as an optional second inbox for message requests.
This allows you to communicate with your Clubhouse friends even after the room is closed.
Speakers will be able to take questions from the audience via text, as well as coordinate with co-hosts in real time.
Clubhouse, which recently released an Android test version of its app, revealed payments for a select group of customers.
Users can now coordinate with their co-hosts, organize questions, and choose guests before going live via ‘Backchannel,’ making event planning easier.
