Facebook has announced that it will be releasing a number of audio features in the coming months, this includes Live Audio Rooms, its version of the popular Clubhouse app, which allows users to listen to and participate in live conversations.
During the pandemic, audio-only networks have grown in popularity.
Facebook will also introduce a new feature called Soundbites, which will allow users to create and share short audio clips.
The feature will be rolled out gradually over the next few months, beginning with a small number of creators.
Users will be able to earn money in the Live Audio Rooms or through Soundbites, though it is uncertain whether this will be available for everyone.
Also, users will also be able to listen to podcasts directly from the Facebook app.
