Also, VertoFX a London-based currency platform founded by a Nigerian has secured 42.1 million in a seed round. The round was led by Accelerated Digital Ventures, Y-Combinator and other investors in Africa. The platform will leverage this fund to develop, expand more currency offers and further deepen cross-border payments. Great move don’t you think so?
YouTube has launched new updates for YouTube music premium subscribers. They also released new playlists for South African Subscribers. The update allows smart downloads and permits users to seamlessly switch between songs and music videos.
Finally, Telkom a South African network provider who recently signed a new roaming partnership with Vodacom, has been facing backlash from its subscribers. The subscribers vented their anger on social media about not accessing full coverage as promised. They, however, got a reply on how to rectify the issue by the telco.
