Amazon is expanding its services in Cape Town, South Africa, as they plan to launch a Special Africa Region within the first six months of 2020. CredoLab, a Singapore-based fintech firm is set to launch across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. The company is looking to help commercial banks, consumer finance companies, auto lenders, online and mobile lenders, insurance companies and retailers, build digital records that will grow their client base.
Finally, Microsoft has revealed plans to invest $1bn in Elon Musk Artificial Intelligence Lab. The lab aims to develop an AI that will replicate the human brain. This deal according to Elion Musk’s owned OpenAI, would be used to build Artificial general intelligence that will surpass the human cognitive capabilities. What do you think?
