Guess what? The International Rights Advocates representing 14 Congolese families has filed a suit in the US against Google, Apple, Tesla, and Microsoft. The companies were sued for the death of kids whilst searching for cobalt in DRC Mines.

Drum roll! KongaPay a subsidiary of e-commerce platform Konga has launched an ATM Cardless withdraw and USSD features. The features will allow KongaPay users to withdraw via ATMs nationwide.

Next on the Big 5, Chipper Cash an African cross-border fintech platform has secured $6 million funding round. The platform will leverage the funds to scale its team and expand to new markets.

Also, Grainpulse a Uganda-based supply chain platform has secured $11 million from IFC and GAFSP. The funding will be used to link smallholder farmers in Uganda with fertilizers and markets.

Finally, on-demand bike-hailing platform SafeBoda has launched a food delivery service. The platform will provide food services to SafeBoda users across Uganda.
