Guess what? Nigeria has plans to invest $732 million in broadband infrastructure. The project, which is aimed at boosting Nigeria’s economy and it will span across four years.

 

Have you heard? Little, a cab and bus hailing company based in Kenya has suspended its services. Although the startup hasn’t revealed the reason behind service suspension, Little promises to resume work soon enough.

 

We also have news that Trella, a Cairo-based truck logistics marketplace has acquired its competitor Trukto. They plan to leverage the deal to expand across the country and eventually become the country’s largest platform.

Also, the telecommunications company Orange has opened its MENA operational head office in Morocco. The office is situated in Casablanca, Morocco with cutting-edge technology that will foster swift and seamless operations.

 

Finally, Sterlite Technologies a global end-to-end data network solutions company plans to buy a 12.8% stake from Israeli vRAN company ASCOS. They will leverage their Mauritius subsidiary to seal off the deal.
