The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has launched the 2nd cycle of its mentorship program. The announcement was made at the Africa Tech Summit 2020. Have you heard? The Lagos state government is clamping down on taxi-hailing companies in the state, barely a week after banning Okada and Keke riders. This new move threatens the workflow of Uber, Bolt, inDriver etc. as the state impounds some of their vehicles.

 

Next, Wallets Africa has deepened its service offerings with the launch of Wallets for Developers. They will leverage the product to grant developers access to integrate wallets for people to transact on their website.  

 

Also, Rwanda has unveiled a new high-tech cancer treatment center. The center is located at the Military Hospital in Kanombe. They will leverage the center to fight cancer in Rwanda.

 

Finally, Nigeria-based commercial and industrial solar developer, Daystar Power has secured $4 million. They will leverage the funding to bridge the energy gap for businesses in Nigeria.
