Big news! Flutterwave has partnered with WorldPay to handle its digital payment in Africa. The Africa fintech giant also nailed $35 million Series B funding.
Drum roll! Paga has acquired Apposit—a software development company based in Ethiopia. Paga will leverage the deal to deepen its service offerings. Did I mention their expansion plans to Mexico? That’s the gist!
UK-based impact investor CDC Group plans to support African businesses with £2 billion. The fund will grant African banks access to more liquidity that will allow them to support SMEs, entrepreneurs and Microbusinesses.
