Drum roll! Naspers sold about 22 million N Ordinary shares in Prosus NV—its internet assets division. This deal is in a bid to boost Naspers’ valuation.
Guess what? Nigeria-based Know Your Client Startup VerifyMe recently secured an undisclosed sum from Consonance Investment Managers. Verifyme will leverage the funds to grow its digital ID verification products.
Did you hear? Glovo is exiting four markets. Yes, the on-demand food delivery app is withdrawing from Egypt, Turkey, Uruguay and Puerto Rico markets to push for profitability ahead of 2021.
