UNICEF has launched the first African Drone and Data Academy in Lilongwe Malawi. The academy will be an avenue for UNICEF to promote its programmes and services in Africa.
The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe has notified fintech operators’ resident in the country to disclose their access points geolocation. The geolocation will be made available to interested stakeholders.
Digital Lab Africa is calling on creative artists, producers, designers, start-ups, students in the media and creative industries across Sub-Saharan Africa to apply for the 4th edition of its acceleration programme. Finally, Startupbootcamp Fintech Dubai 2020 has selected Fawaterak, an Egypt based fintech startup and SnapSlip, a South Africa based fintech startup to participate in its 2020 cohort. The selected startups will participate in the 3-month cohort with a chance to pitch for funds.
