Zimbabwean Agritech Startup, Rera is the opener of today’s big 5. Here you go.

Harare-based start-up, Rera which has developed an online platform that helps users run their own poultry farm has come out tops at the 2018 edition of Seedstars Harare.  

Also in South Africa, Get Hosted and Loyal1 have been named the first in the South African leg of the DEMO Africa tour held at the Office Hub, Parkhurst Johannesburg.

See The Good And The Other Side Of Instagram Lite… The company released the new version on Google Play recently which takes up just 573 Kilobytes of storage space, compared to the 30 Megabytes the regular Instagram app consumes.

Facebook Is Planning To Shut Down Three Of Its Apps… American online social media and social networking service firm has announced that it will be shutting down three of their apps; Hello, Moves and tbh will be shut down in the coming weeks after failing to gain traction.

In partnership with Nokia, MTN Nigeria has launched the first phase of its Customer Experience Management (CEM)  platform which uses a cognitive analytical tool based on generated data about the customer, it will allow MTN to monitor its network as well as customer behaviour and their challenges, from an operation centre.
