Indian Furniture and home décor brand Sunday Design, a manufacturer of furniture and home furnishings, has secured $1.5 million from a number of family offices, including those of Havells India, SRF Ltd. (Kama Group), and coal logistics company KCT Group, among others.

Started by Gautam Baid in 2021, Sunday Design works with Italian designers to make and sell premium-quality furniture.

The firm transports its items all throughout India, but they have a customer service center in Sultanpur, Delhi.

Their debut line, the “Fifties Collection,” pays homage to the Italian design revolution that occurred in the middle of the 20th century.

The company states that it has expanded at a 10% monthly pace since its beginning.

Sunday Design plans to use the fresh capital to expand its online and offline presence by launching retail stores in Bengaluru and Mumbai, along with an e-commerce platform.
