Bengaluru-based clean-label beverage startup Swizzle has raised ₹2 crore in a seed funding round, according to multiple media reports. The investment was finalised following the company’s pitch on the entrepreneurship television show Ideabaaz and was led by angel investors Sooraj Singh, founder and CEO of Unibots, and Shaili Chopra, founder of SheThePeople and Gytree.
Swizzle plans to deploy the fresh capital to accelerate expansion across retail outlets, hospitality (HoReCa) channels, vending machines and quick-commerce platforms, while also scaling manufacturing capacity and bolstering its team to support growth, industry sources say.
The startup’s production capacity is set to increase sharply, with plans to scale from about 250 litres per day to 2,000 litres per day, enabling an output of up to 40,000 cans daily. Over the coming 12–18 months, Swizzle aims to establish a presence in Hyderabad and other Tier I cities, extend distribution to thousands of retail points nationwide, and grow placements in vending machines and HoReCa accounts.
Founded by Vrinda Singhal and Deepender Singh, Swizzle specialises in ready-to-drink beverages made with real fruits and herbs and positioned as free from artificial flavours, colours and chemicals.
