Amsterdam-based Cooper Pet Care, a pet healthcare provider, announced on Monday that it has raised €900K in a fresh round of funding.

The startup is on a mission to give pets a better and healthier life by providing their parents with an effortless pet healthcare solution.

The investment came from Singapore-based global early-stage venture capital firm Antler, London-based VC firm Flyer One Ventures, and other VCs and business angels.

Founded in 2021 by Michael Fisher and Pavel Timofeev, Cooper Pet Care provides online veterinarian services to modern pet owners.

The startup was founded after taking part in the Antler Amsterdam program in 2020. Antler contributed to the pre-seed round of Cooper Pet Care.

The two founders met at Antler and joined forces to combine their ten years of startup, consulting, and software development expertise.

Through Cooper Pet Care’s platform, users can book a video consultation with certified veterinarians to discuss their pet’s symptoms and get advice on pet healthcare, nutrition, or behavioral topics.

Instant access to a qualified veterinarian online lowers the bar for obtaining veterinary care and enables clients to do so from the comfort of their homes.

The company’s platform also provides an AI-powered symptom checker, a feature that enables quick triage of symptoms and prompts the next steps to be taken.
