Digital disruptor in healthcare Certific has raised €7.4 million in funding to advance remote medical diagnostics led by Plural and backed by Specialist VC and angel investors such as Christopher North, former UK MD of Amazon.
The funding will drive its product expansion and entry into new markets.
Founded in 2020 by Taavet Hinrikus, Liis Narusk, and Jack Kreindler, the digital disruptor in healthcare provides scalable technology to enable remote testing, diagnostics, and monitoring for multiple conditions.
By empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to safely self-test, Certific enables people to become co-contributors to their health, improving patient outcomes by providing technology that enables self-testing at scale, which helps detect illnesses at an earlier stage.
The platform has served patients to self-test over 100,000 times and was the first to launch fully certified remote Covid testing in the U.K. and Estonia.
They recently launched UTI and STI remote testing services in the U.K. and Europe.
