Nutrix, a Swiss medical technology startup with commercial operations in Santiago, Chile raised $1.8M in a seed funding round led by Chile Ventures, with participation from Simpact.
Nutrix specializes in a diabetes monitoring system that links to any smartphone through a mobile app. Plus, they have a coaching system for their patients and are looking to introduce new products related to cardiovascular health. Their objective is to empower patients by delivering constant monitoring and preventive measures to manage their health conditions.
With this investment, Nutrix will develop a growth strategy, to increase the size of its sales team, expand its R & D center in Switzerland, and roll out innovative products to tackle cardiovascular health issues.
Nutrix launched its product in late 2022 and has over 1,000 users. They are hoping to reach $1M in revenue over the next 12 months. Nutrix has achieved significant milestones since its inception, including the Lisbon Web Summit in 2019, being part of TechCrunch’s Disrupt event, and raising two funding rounds totaling $2.3M.
