Stockholm-based Improvin’, a climate technology company, announced that it has secured €3.5M in a Seed round of funding.

This round was led by Pale Blue Dot, a renowned climate tech fund, and Dynamo Ventures, a US-based VC focused on supply chain innovations.

Other investors included FoodBridge, Axel Johnson’s common group platform for early-stage food-tech startups, and PINC, the venture arm of Paulig.

The Swedish firm has also received support from its existing investors LRF Ventures and Atomico Angel Programme. 

Improvin says it will use the capital to fuel the development and expansion of its sustainability performance platform.

Founded by Niklas Wallsargård, Improvin’ is a Swedish technology company that provides a sustainability performance platform specifically tailored to the agri-food industry.

The platform allows food brands, processors, and mills to quantify, verify, and report emissions derived from their primary production activities.

By leveraging the digital infrastructure, agri-food businesses can seamlessly integrate sustainability practices into their existing sourcing processes while simultaneously meeting regulatory reporting standards with reliable primary data.
