EliseAI, a New York-based enterprise software company specializing in AI-driven automation for the healthcare and housing sectors, has raised $250 million in a Series E funding round. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures, and Navitas Capital. This investment values the company at over $2.2 billion, doubling its valuation from the previous year.
Founded in 2017 by Minna Song and Tony Stoyanov, EliseAI initially focused on automating communication and operations within the real estate industry. Recognizing similar inefficiencies in healthcare, the company expanded its platform to address administrative challenges in medical practices. EliseAI’s solutions now encompass patient scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and multi-channel communication, including voice support in seven languages and written responses in 51 languages. The platform has been particularly impactful in specialties such as dermatology, women’s health, ophthalmology, and orthopedics.
In the housing sector, EliseAI’s automation tools assist property managers in managing leasing inquiries, maintenance requests, and resident communications. The company’s products, including AI-Guided Tours, Lease Audits, and a Maintenance App, aim to reduce operational costs and enhance resident experiences. EliseAI currently supports over 600 owners and operators, including 75% of the National Multifamily Housing Council’s Top 50 Operators.
The new funding will enable EliseAI to expand its team, particularly in engineering, AI research, and product development, across its offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. The company plans to accelerate product innovation and scale its impact in both healthcare and housing industries.
EliseAI’s growth trajectory reflects the increasing demand for vertical AI solutions that address specific industry challenges. By automating complex workflows and improving operational efficiency, EliseAI is positioning itself as a leader in the AI-driven transformation of essential services.
