Montréal-based Fintech company HelloSafe has secured $3.3 million in a seed round led by OneRagtime and Kima Ventures.

With this funding, the fintech plans to expand its 50-person team. It will add 40 additional hires to strengthen its technical, marketing, and sales departments by the end of 2023.

The fundraising will allow it to reach 10 times more users in 2 years in Mexico and the rest of the world.

HelloSafe is a leading platform for comparing financial products (insurance, credit, investments) in 11 countries in the world.

Powered by its unique and powerful technology, HelloSafe provides users with dozens of free and anonymous comparison tools, calculators, and expert, up-to-date content. Its platform empowers users to make the best decisions for their wallets and find the right products at the right prices for them.

Led by co-founders Oleksiy Lysogub (CEO and CTO) and Pauline Laurore (CMO), HelloSafe was launched in 2021, to create insurance, investment, savings, and credit product comparison tools to help consumers in the world get more for their money.

Since launching its platform last year, the finTech company has established multiple partnerships to expand that platform.

In recent months, HelloSafe announced a business partnership with Oxio, an internet and TV services provider, to integrate Oxio’s internet, TV, and home phone offers into HelloSafe’s comparison tools.
