Celeri, a technology platform that automates and simplifies compliance processes in the financial industry to drive growth, received a $2.6 million investment to accelerate its expansion in Latin America.

Some investment funds supporting Celeri include Y Combinator, Funders Club VC, Commerce VC, Pioneer Fund, and 22 VC.

The platform was founded in early 2022 in Argentina by Mathias Caramutti, Lucas Ranallo, and Bernardo Michell.

Celeri currently has operations in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico, and will land in Brazil expecting to reach 100 clients by the end of 2023.

The fresh funds will allow Celeri to develop tools to streamline the legal processes of induction, monitoring, and risk management of financial organizations.

“With Celeri we aim to help companies in Latin America by becoming their compliance partner so they can focus on their products and scale faster,” Mathias Caramutti, COO and co-founder of Celeri.

Caramutti also stated that financial organizations had to face new challenges to continue their growth.

These included integrations, vendors, and regulations, which slowed growth and increased costs and business risks.
