Brazilian maritime tech company, TideWise, raised a $1.9M round led by MSW Capital through the MSW MultiCorp2 fund.

TideWise invested $5.9M in research and development, resulting in the creation of Brazil’s first registered unmanned vessel, the USV Tupan, which has provided services to prominent companies in Brazil and abroad.

TideWise stands out as the leading Brazilian technology company in the development, integration, and operation of intelligent autonomous systems  for the naval industry, covering river, port, and maritime needs

TideWise can serve several markets, such as ports, offshore energy, defense, and logistics in general.

Looking at the wind energy market as an example, according to the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Brazil currently has more than 26 gigawatts (GW) of installed capacity, in more than 900 wind farms.

The company created the first unmanned vessel to be registered with the Brazilian Navy, the USV Tupan, which has already provided services to large companies such as Petrobras, Repsol Sinopec Brasil, and Shell and also for the European electrical distribution company, Elia Group, in Belgium.
