Chilean startup Datamart raised $6.3M in a seed round led by Moonvalley Capital, Banco Santander, Grupo Falabella, and BICE.

Datamart will use the funds to enhance its platform, expand its business to Mexico, and scale its operations in Peru, Colombia, and Chile.

Datamart offers a platform that streamlines the processes of evaluation and obtaining credits, based on facilitating information exchange between banks and businesses.

The company has over 2000 B2B clients and expects to reach an annual recurring revenue of over $7M by the end of 2023.

The co-founder and CEO of Datamart, Mauricio Thibaut, says that this year and the next they will bet heavily on the great Mexican market.

We see great opportunities because our analysis indicates that there are barriers to accessing credit that precisely have to do with the management processes of this type of financial product.

Consequently, the model of data management and streamlining in the evaluation is very attractive for the financial institutions of that country”, said Thibaut.
