Vambe, a Chile-based artificial intelligence-powered conversational commerce platform, has raised US $14 million in a Series A funding round, underscoring growing investor momentum for mid-stage technology companies across Latin America, industry sources reported.
The financing was led by Monashees, a prominent regional venture capital firm, with participation from Cathay Latam, Atlantico, Tekton Ventures, Chile Ventures, SkyDeck Berkeley, Nazca and M13, according to funding disclosures.
Vambe’s platform automates conversational commerce for business-to-consumer companies by integrating AI agents with enterprise systems to manage customer interactions, sales cycles and support workflows — a capability executives say helps midsized firms scale without proportionally increasing sales and service headcount.
The company has experienced rapid adoption since its founding, expanding its team significantly and processing millions of customer engagement conversations across diverse sectors, including retail, automotive and financial services.
Proceeds from the Series A will be used to scale Vambe’s operations in core markets such as Chile and Mexico, deepen its customer-facing teams, expand into Colombia and launch in Brazil in early 2026, executives said.
The round highlights continued venture capital interest in Latin American technology startups beyond early seed stages, as investors back companies leveraging AI and automation to address business-process challenges in regional markets.
Analysts and ecosystem observers note that funding rounds like Vambe’s reflect a broader uptick in mid-stage investment activity across Latin America, with capital flowing into startups positioned to scale commercially and capture regional demand for AI-driven solutions.
The company also recently appointed Simón Borrero to its board of directors, a move investors described as strengthening governance and strategic insight as Vambe enters its next phase of growth.
