There will be over 60 different events hosted over the duration of the event with the purpose of celebrating the city’s startup ecosystem.

The very first Lagos Startup Week began in 2015 and brought together entrepreneurs and small business owners to participate in a range of sessions that included keynotes, panels, and meetups.

The first event brought in over 1,000 entrepreneurs to attend, which prompted the decision to continue its return in the following years.

The theme of this year’s event will be “Visionary.” The event will run from September 25th to the 29th.

Olumide Olayinka, the organizer of the Lagos Startup Week said, “This year, we are putting together an amazing line up of speakers which include entrepreneurs, experts, investors and mentors who have made Lagos startup ecosystem what it is today.”

Those who are interested in applying for the event can still pre-register.

Some of the speakers who have attended the event in prior years include Steve Case, Jean Case, and Michael Sibel. All of who msre CEOs of their respective and prominent businesses.

The event is proudly sponsored by Ringier Digital Marketing, TechCity, The NOW Collectives, VC4A, International Space Apps, Lagos Comic Con, African Fintech Network, and Drink Entrepreneurs.

This year’s event will be expecting over 2,000 attendees, 160 speakers, over 50 sessions, and more than 200 startups in attendance.
