The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has unveiled its “Initiative Accelerator Program” at the Innovation Hub “Wolooj,” inviting Kuwaiti talents to submit innovative proposals addressing challenges in the banking and financial sectors. The program, running from September 1 to December 1, 2025, aims to promote creativity and entrepreneurship within the local ecosystem.

Program Objectives and Themes

The Initiative Accelerator Programme focuses on several key thematic areas:

Applicants are encouraged to develop solutions supported by application or research that address these themes. Selected participants will have the opportunity to interact with CBK experts and mentors, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.

Eligibility and Application Process

To qualify, applicants must demonstrate experience or advanced academic interest in at least two of the following areas:

Interested individuals can submit their applications via email to Accelerator@cbk.gov.kw, providing necessary information such as full name, civil ID number, email address, contact number, current occupation, and a brief description of their experience or academic interest in the relevant areas.

This initiative aligns with CBK’s vision to enhance the financial sector’s resilience and adaptability by integrating innovative solutions. By engaging local talent, the programme seeks to address pressing issues in the financial ecosystem and contribute to the development of a robust and secure banking environment in Kuwait.
