Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First, a program that supports African startups intending to apply artificial intelligence to address regional issues, is now accepting applications.
The most recent Google for Startups program in Africa acknowledges the revolutionary role AI is playing on a global scale, reinventing sectors and expanding the boundaries of what is possible.
It also emphasizes the important roles played by African companies in using AI to tackle some of the most urgent problems facing the continent.
The “AI First” program is designed to aid entrepreneurs eager to explore the potential of AI. It incorporates lessons learned from earlier programs like Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa, Google for Startups Black Founders Fund, and Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders.
The 10-week equity-free accelerator is now accepting applications from entrepreneurs up to the Series A stage who are based in Africa or developing AI and machine learning solutions with an emphasis on the continent.
Access to Google’s AI know-how, technical resources, including up to US$350,000 in Google Cloud Credits, mentorship from seasoned AI experts, and priceless networking opportunities are just a few of the advantages for participants.
