Startupbootcamp AfriTech, an accelerator program, is now accepting applications for its fourth edition of the Africa Startup Initiative Program.

The first pan-African startup accelerator with multiple corporate supporters, Startupbootcamp AfriTech was launched in 2017.

Young businesses with ground-breaking concepts that are improving their communities are supported by ASIP.

AWS, Google for Startups, Firstbase, DER/FJ, the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO), through MASSIF, the financial inclusion fund FMO manages on behalf of the Dutch government, and the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) are some of the partners who support the ASIP initiative.

According to Henry Ojuor, director of the program, “Earlier this year, we witnessed history in the making as startups from our ASIP Accelerator got on stage to demo their innovations and traction to the world, with US$4.5 million worth of fundraising discussions and tens of corporate pilots across the cohort, we’re back on the road in search of the next set of innovative entrepreneurs for ASIP Accelerator cohort four.”

We’ll be traveling across the entire continent in an effort to identify, train, and scale the most promising innovators, all while being surrounded by the dynamic rhythm of Africa’s untapped potential. We can’t wait to see you, we’re thrilled, and we can’t wait to help rocket you into the moon!” said Ojuor.

Companies that make the cut receive equity capital of US$18,000 in addition to US$750,000 in credits, services, and in-kind value.

The application deadline is September 8.
