Startup Cafe Africa, based in Ghana, has launched an accelerator program to help African entrepreneurs disrupt their markets.

Startup Cafe Africa, which is supported by iSpace, HatuaTech, Tribe Capital, GhLondoners network, InvestPro, and HatuaOnPoint, aims to provide successful applicants with the expertise, tools, and support they need to develop and scale their businesses in emerging African markets.

The completely virtual program is sector-agnostic and aims to link early-stage entrepreneurs with mentors from a variety of backgrounds as well as resources tailored to the African market.

Cohort participants will be encouraged to engage in hands-on implementation of concepts and techniques learned during the program, in addition to a standardized curriculum.

It will culminate in a demo day, at which all of the startups will show their ideas to a carefully chosen group of investors and media, with Startup Cafe Africa continuing to fund and communicate with the companies after the program has ended.

The deadline for application is May 30th, with the program starting in August.
