As it works on its expansion plans, the Egyptian start-up Odiggo, a digital marketplace for automotive spare parts, has raised a US$ 600,000 seed funding round.
Launched in 2017, in order to buy car parts and accessories, Odiggo links customers with suppliers, and has seen strong growth.
The startup has now raised a seed round of US$600,000 from Essa Al-Saleh, former chief executive officer (CEO) of the billion-dollar logistics firm Agility Logistics and current chairman of Volta Trucks, a UK-based software auto-manufacturing company, after raising US$180,000 in funding in May 2019.
Odiggo is also currently launching a new round to expand into new cities and create more platforms for its consumer marketplace to be readily available.
The start-up is trying to put together the best team in the Middle East to help us achieve the largest market share in the dispersed trillion-dollar industry.
