Twitter has disclosed that it is attempting to introduce the Undo tweet feature to a select group of users.
Twitter is exploring significant changes, including the prospect of charging users for Twitter subscriptions.
According to reports, users who want paid Twitter subscriptions can gain access to a collection of features that will be unavailable to daily Twitter users.
Among the special features available to paying users, the company will include the ability to undo a tweet.
Jane Manchun Wong, a reverse engineer, tweeted about the undo a tweet feature that appeared on a subscription computer.
It effectively helps users to undo a recent post.
This differs from the current delete tweet feature, which removes a single tweet from the view of all Twitter users.
Users may use undo a tweet to instantly delete a tweet until it is sent out within a set amount of time.
Wong posted a screenshot of the undo tweet feature. However, it has not yet been made public.
She also implies that it will be one of the features available to Twitter’s paying subscribers in the future.
The undo tweet feature will function very differently than the remove tweet choice.
The undo tweet functionality would include a mechanism that will prevent the tweet from being public until a certain amount of time has passed.
