Venture for Africa

Applications are now open for Venture for Africa’s second bootcamp program. This talent community is a top source for hiring top tech startup talent on the continent.

The goal of Venture for Africa’s flagship three-month fellowship is to help the world’s most vibrant Young professionals make the transition into roles in Africa’s burgeoning tech startup ecosystem by providing them with exposure to local market nuances, expert-led training tailored to key roles, and introductions to the continent’s most promising new businesses.

The goal of the 10-week Go-To-Market Bootcamp is to turn participants into growth assets by giving them a better grasp of the fundamental tasks and competencies required on the revenue side of the business.

Applicants currently working in their chosen industry, as well as those who are interested in entering the space will be eligible to participate in the program.

Market and customer research, competitive analysis, brand messaging and positioning, product/service pricing and adaptation, launch marketing strategies, partnership building, sales pipeline development, and much more are all covered in the program.

The ideal participants are mid-level professionals with deeper experience working in marketing, sales, product, finance, or legal roles at an African tech startup who are looking to advance into more senior positions, as well as those with strong strategic and operational skills who want to gain more experience working in growth and revenue teams.

Participants will take part in weekly online masterclasses led by seasoned industry professionals applicable to each topic, as well as readings, assignments, and practical fieldwork.

After the bootcamp, Venture for Africa will use its extensive network to place participants who demonstrate they are excellent candidates for mid-level and senior jobs in growth and expansion at top firms that are hiring.
