Ecobank, the pan-African financial services group, has announced the opening of applications for the seventh edition of its Fintech Challenge.

This annual competition extends an invitation to mature and early-stage fintech startups to collaborate with Ecobank.

The grand prize is US$50,000, and the opportunity to expand their solutions across Ecobank’s extensive network, which spans 35 African countries.

The Ecobank Fintech Challenge offers a distinctive opportunity for Fintech Entrepreneurs to take on challenges. In addition to offering financial incentives, Ecobank offers its expertise in managing diversified market operations and the appropriate solutions to scale across its pan-African footprint and international presence, including France.

The significance of this pan-African challenge was underscored by the 1,490 entries of genuine quality that were received in the previous year’s competition.

The Ecobank Fintech Fellowship program is highly competitive, and successful applicants who reach the Grand Finale and Awards Ceremony in October 2024 will have the opportunity to participate. The overall winner will receive a cash prize of US$50,000.
