Regeny EV Charging has inaugurated a new fast-charging electric vehicle hub near Dubai International Airport (DXB), aiming to bolster sustainable mobility in one of the UAE’s busiest traffic corridors, the company confirmed this week.
The facility, located at the Mövenpick Grand Hotel Al Bustan in Garhoud, is equipped with four 160 kW DC ultra-fast chargers designed to provide rapid and reliable energy replenishment for both private EV owners and commercial fleet operators.
Regeny said the new hub operates around the clock and does not require drivers to enter the airport grounds, enabling convenient access for airport-bound traffic and passing motorists. The site is built to handle frequent, back-to-back charging sessions, responding to the increasing demand for high-speed EV infrastructure in urban and travel-intensive zones.
Anish Racherla, CEO of Regeny, stated the initiative aligns with the company’s mission to make electric mobility more accessible and to support the UAE’s transition toward cleaner transportation. He described the airport hub as a key step in facilitating seamless EV travel in a strategic transport node.
The launch coincides with broader government efforts to expand EV adoption across the Emirates, including nationwide policy support and scaling of charging networks by authorities such as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). Industry sources note that infrastructure development remains central to the UAE’s climate and mobility objectives.
Regeny’s latest installation adds to its growing footprint of public charging points in Dubai and beyond, reflecting rising electric vehicle uptake in the region and the need for reliable high-speed charging options along major traffic arteries.
