These include real-time translation for calls and FaceTime, visual intelligence for object recognition, and enhanced Siri capabilities. Developers can now access Apple’s on-device AI models through the new Foundation Models API, allowing for the creation of privacy-focused, intelligent applications.

A major visual overhaul, dubbed Liquid Glass, was announced for iOS 26, macOS Tahoe, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26.
