EGYPTIAN STARTUPS, REGISTER FOR THIS PROGRAM BEFORE APRIL 1ST

The fourth cycle of “Start-up Reactor”, a 5-month program organized by a company named Innoventures in Egypt in partnership with VC4A has opened applications for all entrepreneurs with start-ups in Egypt. The 2017 program was officially launched on the 8th of March and applications will close on the 1st of April.

The purpose of Startup Reactor is to support startups that are operating in certain high-opportunity industries in Egypt. It is an accelerator that creates an atmosphere where entrepreneurs, investors and mentors can connect. Investors and mentors are given an ownership interest in the form of an equity stake (a stock or a share) in the businesses they choose to support. Along with this newest cycle, comes the launching of a new 30 million EGP venture capital fund.

Thirty startups will qualify for the “Ignition” the boot camp stage. The boot camp will assist in business model, prototype, brand and customer base development.  Of the 30, 15 will make it to the plasma stage where they will receive the full benefits of the program. Each startup is assigned a dedicated mentor, the plasma winners are given other perks in addition like office space, legal support and seed funding. This year’s accelerator will also be enhanced by the addition of three additional training tracks for startups in certain industries.

To register for the program prior to its April 1st deadline or get more info on the program, apply here.
