As far as events go, the Transform Africa Summit (TAS), is one of the biggest there is on the African continent. Starting today at the Kigali Convention Center in Rwanda, over 4000 delegates from 75 countries are expected at this year’s edition.
Kicking things off with the Transform Africa Economic Forum today, the event will bring together the stakeholders in Africa’s technology space to discuss the role and power of digital technology in accelerating the pace towards AfCFTA goals and to make Africa more competitive on the global front.

Day 2 of The Transform Africa Summit will focus on the big wigs – nearly all of Africa’s ICT ministers will meet to share knowledge, talk policy and identify key challenges and innovative solutions in the journey to bring Africa to the forefront of global technology.

The third day of the Transform Africa Summit will carry on in a similar tone with panels and discussions on various talk points including digital health, blockchain technology, policy and regulatory framework.

Following the theme of the event, “Accelerating Africa’s Single Digital Market,” there will also be a lot of action on the sidelines of the Summit as well. Networking, special panels, exhibitions and lots more are on the cards.
