Exits MENA, an Egyptian fintech investment banking platform, has raised $1.25 million in a seed round led by Silicon Valley venture company Practical VC.

The funding round was led by general partners Dave McClure and Aman Verjee, Practical VC specializes in secondary market transactions, focusing on LP and GP interests and high-growth venture-backed companies.

Exits MENA, a company founded in 2022 by Mohamed Aboulnaga, Ahella El Saban, and Ayman El Tanbouly, intends to facilitate M&As and investments in businesses by providing a seamless and fully integrated online solution on its platform as well as a comprehensive financial advice service.

The Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) recently granted the company a license for the promotion and underwriting of securities.

Exits MENA has successfully closed six agreements totaling more than $10 million in value across 15 verticals since the platform’s beta debut.

The company has already raised $1 million in a pre-seed fundraising round.

“We were very impressed by the team at Exits MENA and their track record in building and growing companies, which is a great quality in an investment banking partner,” added McClure.

The additional funds will be utilized to broaden the organization’s reach and improve its offerings.
