FlapKap, an Egyptian startup that intends to revolutionize the e-commerce market with its tech-enabled revenue-based financing platform, has announced the completion of its US$3.6 million seed funding round.

Bolt by QED, Nclude, Outliers, and A15 all took part in the seed round.

FlapKap, a company founded in 2022 by Ahmad Coucha and Khaled Nassef, assists online retailers in maximizing their growth potential by utilizing financial data analytics and artificial intelligence-based insights to evaluate the company and ultimately deliver value through inventory funding, media funding, and optimization.

We’re delighted to welcome leading international investors who have deep knowledge and extensive expertise in the revenue-based financing space and have previously invested in some of our international peers. “As we develop our platform and expand our capacity to enable even more e-commerce platforms to attain their full growth potential, we’re excited to be joined by these investors,” said Coucha.

By enabling e-commerce companies to increase their inventory and digital ads now and pay flexibly afterward, the company hopes to strengthen its position in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt.

With the additional funding, FlapKap hopes to strengthen its position as the region’s top provider of revenue-based finance and expand its ability to assist more e-commerce enterprises in the MENA region in scaling and maximizing their growth potential.
