Imaginario AI, a Tunisian startup that processes video and audio content with the help of artificial intelligence, has raised $1 million in pre-seed funding to facilitate its international expansion.

216 Capital led the funding round, which also included several business angels, Blue Lake VC, Earthling Ventures, Comcast NBCUniversal, and Techstars.

Jose Puga and Abdelhak Loukkal founded Imaginario AI in 2021 to transform the way AI processes video and audio content.

The company has developed an API and platform that are powered by artificial intelligence. These tools enable them to process massive amounts of data quickly and easily, making the processes of making and analyzing multimedia content much easier for marketers and creators.

Imaginario AI has reportedly cut search and creation time by over 60% for major Hollywood studios and media firms, including Cineverse, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Discovery, and more.

The startup may now streamline its expansion and extend its technical and sales teams in the US, Europe, and the MENA region thanks to the new funding round.
