Talents Arena, an Egyptian startup in the recruitment industry, has secured $750,000 in pre-seed funding.

UI Investments served as the round’s primary investor.

Several angel investors from Saudi Arabia and Egypt also invested in the round.

Aya Elgebeely founded Talents Arena in 2019 to streamline the recruitment process for businesses in the MENA region.

The startup has helped thousands of applicants find IT jobs since it launched in 2019.

Its talent has been employed in a number of nations, including Egypt, Tunisia, South Africa, Uganda, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Elgebeely, CEO of the startup, states that Talents Arena automates the hiring process through the use of AI and ML.

Its methodology aids in locating the greatest possibilities for both job searchers and hiring managers. By charging commission and subscription fees, Talents Arena generates revenue, and as of 2020, it had earned more than $65,000.

“This funding milestone enables us to accelerate the development of our AI hiring engine and expand our footprint in the Saudi market, which already accounts for 25% of our client base. We are excited to bring our cutting-edge technology to businesses across industries in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, helping hiring managers and recruiters find talents faster with higher accuracy and at a better economic value,” Elgebeely said.

Previously receiving $100,000 from Flat6Labs and NilePreneurs, the startup has expressed interest in raising $2 million for growth.
