South African travel fintech TurnStay has raised $2 million in seed funding to expand its platform and streamline payments for the travel and hospitality sector across Africa.

The funding round was led by local and regional investors, highlighting growing confidence in fintech solutions addressing travel-related financial challenges. TurnStay provides digital payment solutions, booking management tools, and financial services tailored for hotels, tour operators, and travelers.

Founded to tackle the inefficiencies in travel transactions, TurnStay’s platform enables secure, instant, and cross-border payments, reducing delays and operational friction for hospitality businesses. The fintech also offers analytics and reporting tools, helping businesses optimize revenue and manage cash flow more effectively.
