Winshot, a retail tech startup based in Tunisia, has raised six figures in funding to help brands, retail chains, and franchise leaders improve operational efficiency and the consumer experience.
The startup will utilize the six-figure round of funding, which was led by the Tunisian VC firm 216 Capital, to build top-notch sales and marketing teams and develop a strong foothold in the French and Tunisian markets.
“A fantastic team and a product that addresses a real need in a promising market – these are the reasons why we invested in Winshot. Our investment reflects our confidence in their potential and our commitment to supporting their journey to success,” said Dhekra Khelifi, partner at 216 Capital.
With a focus on two key elements, Winshot aims to tackle the intricate challenges of retail distribution networks.
Firstly, it will help internal teams operate more effectively both in the field and at the point of sale.
Secondly, it will use real-time monitoring to ensure that processes are applied seamlessly and brand standards are adhered to at every point of sale within a distribution network.
