For the second year of the DMZ incubator program, which supports early-stage tech entrepreneurs, applications are now open.

Inaugurated in 2021, DMZ Cairo gives the upcoming generation of tech entrepreneurs the resources they need to create, launch, and expand very significant enterprises from the nation’s capital.

The National Technological Incubators program and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) fund DMZ Cairo, which is housed on the campus of the University of Canada in the New Administrative Capital (INTILAC).

Seven IT businesses from the travel, legal, advertising, construction, health, and e-commerce verticals are part of the incubator’s first and ongoing cycle.

According to the incubator, it offers a high-impact, high-intensity, and highly customized program with fully furnished workspaces, individualized support from dedicated program leads and mentors, peer-to-peer sessions, expert-led workshops, networking opportunities, and access to the North American startup ecosystem.

The first DMZ Cairo demo day in September is planned to feature pitches from the startups listed below:

The second cycle of applications is now accepting submissions through September 29. The program will start in November.
