Madica, a structured investment program designed for pre-seed startups in Africa, has announced its latest round of investments, committing $800,000 to four innovative tech-enabled startups: Medikea, Motherbeing, Pixii Motors, and ToumAI.
Each startup has received up to $200,000 and will participate in Madica’s comprehensive 18-month investment program, which includes:

Emmanuel Adegboye, Head of Madica, expressed enthusiasm about the portfolio’s diversity, noting that the program has exceeded its goal of achieving at least 50% gender diversity in leadership teams. Additionally, a significant portion of the portfolio features female CEOs, and the investments span eight different countries and six diverse sectors.
This investment round underscores Madica’s commitment to addressing structural gaps in Africa’s startup ecosystem by providing capital, mentorship, and resources to early-stage companies across the continent.
