Leading regional accelerator Flat6Labs has launched a new independent investment firm, F6 Ventures, to strengthen seed-stage funding for startups across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The new fund aims to provide flexible early-stage capital, bridging the critical funding gap for founders at the seed stage. F6 Ventures will operate independently while leveraging Flat6Labs’ vast network of alumni, mentors, and regional investors.

“Seed-stage startups are the heartbeat of the region’s innovation economy,” said Ramez El-Serafy, CEO of Flat6Labs. “With F6 Ventures, we’re doubling down on our commitment to founders who need capital, mentorship, and strategic support at their earliest growth stages.”

Since its founding in 2011, Flat6Labs has invested in over 400 startups across MENA, creating a strong pipeline of entrepreneurs tackling challenges in fintech, healthtech, e-commerce, and sustainability. With F6 Ventures, the firm is expanding its focus to larger ticket seed investments and follow-on funding to help startups scale faster.

Access to seed-stage funding remains one of the biggest hurdles for entrepreneurs in Africa and the Middle East. By spinning off F6 Ventures, Flat6Labs is creating a dedicated platform to nurture more unicorns from the region while offering investors new ways to tap into MENA’s fast-growing tech ecosystem.

Flat6Labs’ launch of F6 Ventures marks a bold step to empower seed-stage founders, strengthen MENA’s startup pipeline, and fuel the region’s innovation economy.
