It was announced earlier this year that the Annual Tech Summit will hold in Kigali, Rwanda from the 13th to 15th of February. It calls on to investors, entrepreneurs, tech and innovation hubs, policymakers amongst others to be in attendance.
This event will bring together Industry leaders, aficionados and stakeholders to not only showcase investment opportunities but also to explore the numerous opportunities and challenges faced in the current tech ecosystem.
The event is supported by the Rwandan Ministry of ICT and also in partnership with Disrupt Africa and will encourage collaboration within the ecosystem to further entrepreneurship and tech innovations amongst investors, corporates and startups.
During the summit, there would be a live pitch event and 10 startups will be invited to pitch in front of more than 400+ investors, corporate partners, accelerators and media to pitch their ideas. The summit also provides working startups expo packages— which is an opportunity for them to showcase their products to various investors for funding and business support.
Over 35 industry leaders would speak at the Tech Summit which is divided into 3 categories which are, the Future Summit, the Africa Start-up Summit and the Creative Summit.
