Like we forecasted in our macOS Mojave 10.14.1 update review, Apple Inc. has released its latest devices. They include: iPad Pro models, Mac computers and Mac Mini and it was announced at an event in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

Apple also announced its latest operating system, iOS 12.1 is now available to install for iPhone and iPad users.

Let’s talk about some features of the iPad Pros

The new launched iPad Pros comes without the home button and packed with Apple’s facial recognition technology called Face ID which was first introduced with the iPhone X product line.

It features the same edge-to-edge LCD display that Apple introduced with the September release iPhone XR, and they come with 11- and 12.9-inch displays. iPad Pros run on A12X bionic chips, a notch that is more powerful than iPhone XS and XS Max smartphones. It ships with 1 terabyte of storage, and has typical Lightning port for a USB-C port, similar to high-end computers.

The USB-C port will also let users connect accessories like digital cameras and high-resolution desktop displays to the iPad Pro.

Its price starts at $799 for the 11-inch model and $999 for the 12.9-inch model.

MacBook Air

The MacBook Air features 13.3-inch, edge-to-edge retina display, and Touch ID that allows users to unlock the device with the scan of a fingerprint. The sensor is placed in the keyboard and enables touch-based Apple Pay.

The keyboard and trackpad were revamped too, with the upgraded microphones and speakers for better audio. It offers up to 16GB of storage which doubled the memory capacity of the previous edition.

According to Apple Inc., the computer is considerably lighter and its overall volume is reduced by over 17 percent. The company also said every new MacBook Air is made entirely from recycled aluminium.

The new MacBook Air price start from $1,199 – $100 cheaper than the baseline MacBook computer.
