Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) is launching a Design Lab in Rwanda’s Capital, Kigali in the coming weeks. According to the CEO, Bosun Tijani, this Design Lab will be a ‘first of its kind’. This seems to be another initiative aside from its much acclaimed innovation hub.
The workroom will house its internal research and development unit comprised of designers, engineers and product developers— who will work together with top scientists globally to take on social challenges. At the time of filing this report, efforts to reach Tijani for more details was abortive, but we will update you when we have more information.
Techpreneurs have it rough in Africa, especially in some countries where investment doesn’t come easily and access to needed infrastructure seem to be difficult. All these may become easy now as the new Digital lab will provide the needed infrastructure and will focus on connecting Africa’s innovators to the global community to solve social challenges.

CcHUB is Nigeria’s first open living lab and pre-incubation space premeditated to be a multi-functional space where work to catalyse creative social tech ventures take place. With these in the hat, CcHub is on the move to set Kigali on the path to technological boom and evolve into one of the top destinations in the region for investments.
