As part of its effort to further enable digital agencies and brands take advantage of the online marketing tools available in Nigeria, Alphabet Inc. subsidiary, Google has launched its programme called “Google Partners” in the country.
Google Partners is a program for advertising agencies, digital marketing professionals, and other online consultants who manage Google Ads accounts.
The programme targeted at improving the existing relationship between Google and advertising agencies, digital marketing experts, and other online professionals that manages Google Ads accounts.
While speaking about the programme, Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor who is the Google Country Director in Nigeria said, “The introduction of Google Partners is just the latest example of our commitment to bringing the next wave of Nigerian businesses online.”

“Agencies are key partners for working with SMBs (small and midsized businesses)” she adds. “The Google Partners programme helps us bring businesses online by strengthening the digital ecosystem.”
Through the Partners programme, Google will ensures that businesses get the help they need when it comes to things like search, mobile, display, video, and shopping advertising.
Digital marketing agencies with partner certifications will be able to display it on their websites, showing that they have passed Google Ads exams and are up to date with the latest product knowledge.
Ehimuan-Chiazor stressed that “Google sees Nigeria as a strong market for growth…..We look forward to seeing how digital marketers use the Partners programme to fuel the next phase of that growth.”
